I very much enjoy elevated experiences such as afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, the rooftop bar & restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria, the outstanding service and cuisine at 77 above in Downtown Los Angeles, the delicious food at Baltaire in Westwood, dining at Wally's or the Penthouse Restaurant in the Huntley Hotel located in Santa Monica, or enjoying the fresh cuisine at Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills. It is common practice for me to enjoy charcuterie and mocktails, tea, or coffee at my own home. Contrastly, you will also find me at regular intervals enjoying street tacos in downtown Santee Alley (sometimes on an overturned paint bucket or box), sharing a meal with a homeless person, eating tamales from the Tamale Man Restaurant in Hawthorne, hitting up the drive-thru at Del Taco, Chick-fil-A, or McDonald's (don't judge me too much for that last one), or simply DoorDashing it up. Jazz music and dancing are always going to win me over. I love music, am a multi-instrumentalist, and sing/direct/compose as well. And yes, I absolutely love shopping like any woman. I am bougie and I do enjoy beautiful things and finer things, but I'm a sweetheart to boot. Although I do enjoy nice things, I'm a former foster care kid who also used to be homeless, lost her mother, father, and identical twin sister. There's not much this world has not shown me and I'm far from superficial. I can survive anywhere. But as the adage goes, "Money can't buy happiness, but it's more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle."
