Lovely to meet you ! 😃 Background- I would love to tell you bit more about me.I’ve worked for BT for over 33 yrs...Current role is a fibre planner for major corporations and residential homes , I'm currently involved in rolling out/planning high speed optical fibre across the UK, working with colleagues both onshore and offshore from the Sub- continent , I work hard and play hard. Started working at age of 15 , while studying at the same time. Bought my first flat at age of 22 (same time I started working for BT) and now own my own property. Worked part/time whilst , at the same time, holding down full time employment with BT(sometimes clocking up 72hrs per week-oh well, I still had Sunday to do my laundry!!). I contribute regularly to charitable organisations, in particular children's charities such as UNICEF, Magic FM kids at Crisis, Children in Need, and Shelter, to support the homeless. I'm just completed sky-diving with my son in April ! It involved a 12,000 ft tandem drop, travelling at a velocity 120 mph free fall, it was fun! . Doing the next one in Mombasa, Diani Beach in November. Can't wait! Did this to raise money for The British Heart foundation , after setting up a donation page. I am gregarious , love to natter! I believe I have a great sense of humour, because I like to put a smile on every one's face where I can , spread a little happiness whether it’s a visit to my local dentist or the ordinary man/woman in the street, or talking on the phone. I think, in these torrid times we all need cheering up, I guess! After all they say laughter is the best medicine. Right? You would have thought we learnt our lesson from history by now , involved in 2 world wars, the Cuban missile crisis , cold war between US and Russia in 1962 and of the catastrophe of Chernobyl in April 1986. War is not the answer for only LOVE can conquer hate.🧡 Listen to Mercy Mercy Me, by Marvyn Gaye, i found it very profound . Hey but listen, life goes on.. I'm just a down to earth Guy, simple and honest, easy to get on with and outgoing/social. Hobbies- Enjoy travelling around the World, in particular US/Canada, Africa,(Safari trips), Europe and most parts of India (visited many regions), after all I originate from Rajasthan. Hope to visit Far East and Oz one day! (Reminds me , I need to brush of on my Mandarin if I visit Oz LOL!) I enjoy keeping active-Going for walks in the Lovely Surrounding Hertfordshire Countryside , Gardening, DIY, Theatre, Concerts, documentaries , especially those relating to Technology /Medicine,/Current affairs and Cooking . Love adventure sports like Go-Carting, Paragliding ,Learning to Fly. Latest hobbies include, learning to play the Guitar.(Good luck on that!). I've been Scuba diving in Egypt, Tenerife, and The Maldives, with my son, who started doing deep sea-diving at the age of 15,(Instructor led of course) ,there was no stopping him, believe me I tried!! I'm also into the latest Smart Technology ,(as I have IT background!), Love Singing and Watching Formula 1 Racing (i still think Lewis should have one!) Enjoy all types of music from classical Indian to modern day pop,(love Adagio for strings by Samuel Barber and Cavatina by John Williams)-check it out, you may recognise it from somewhere) ,dining out and I enjoy Cooking , anything from Italian to Indian! (Bit like the girls I used to date!). Learning new dishes all the time! I guess it comes from watching too much MasterChef . Also into quiz shows both of which keeps my brain sharp and IQ high (136). I like a challenge... Family-My son , who recently turned 18 , is currently living with me , studying for his A levels at School, (he's very conscious about his health /fitness and what he eats, apparently his body is like a temple-very fussy, as most teenagers are these days!) And not to forgetting my adorable 3yr old cute Labrador Retriever ,Sunny! The current Love of my Life , (He eats anything-not fussy) and whom I receive UNCONDTIONAL Love, take note ladies -LOL. He's my best buddy in the world! Both my son and Sunny mean the world to me and whoever I end up with , will be joining a happy family. They both keep on my toes, lots to do being a single Dad but I don’t mind! Sunny is a lively, happy dog and always cheers me up, if ever I'm feeling down. Full Of Life. .
