We can't remember the day we meet but it should be October 2008. And 2009 I came to Denmark, February 2009 and then we met and had a chance to see and know each other better...It was not easy but were both prepared because that's what we wanted....Our relationship went on very well... My husband is from Denmark and I am from Zambia. Today we are married.

After many months searching for the woman of my dreams and wanted to spend the rest of my life with, I had resigned myself to the fact that I would probably be spending the rest of my life as a single man because I had been searching on AfroIntroductions without success. I had met many potential companions/partners but after discussions with them eventually found out that they were not serious with their intentions and were just players..... On June the 10th 2006 God must have been smiling on me because at this particular moment in my life I was about to give up online computer dating but then it happened, Susan suddenly came into my life after a short encounter a year prior to this. We had communicated two or three times but at that time we were both new to AfroIntroductions only interested in just looking at the profiles. I sent her a message immediately because the woman I had a short encounter with a year previously seemed really interested in me once again and genuine with her comments. She responded straight away also and soon we began exchanging frequent emails to each other and chatting via AfroIntroductions and Messenger everyday. Our basic conversations then transcended into meaningful text messages and phone calls and after a while we both decided we needed to meet each other, but how could this be possible, was the question because we lived miles apart from each other, me in U.K and her in China. I decided to visit her in China. When we met it was like the chemistry was magic and we moulded together like chalk and cheese. Felt as though we had known each other for a very long time. Today we sit here together in London, a very happy couple making plans for the future together I cannot believe how fortunate I am to have found such a great guy. We recently got married and plan to have lots of babies. Without your website we never would have met, so a big thanks to you! And Thanks to Almighty God for answering our prayers of the year 2006. I found this site after trying others, I had no sucess in finding the right WOMAN. I went to this site and found the WOMAN of my dreams. She and I started talking, we have been talking for several months. I just recently took a trip to meet her and we got married there in her home land, which is Nigeria... God made this all possible through faith and love... God blesses all his people who love him.

Dear Afro, I wish to extend my thanks to you for a great site. I joined Afro in August of 2005 and immediately started to meet people. I received one particular e-mail and after reading it, thought to myself “wow.”

I unfortunately got called away on business at the very beginning of our communicating with one another and wasn’t able to sign on for a week or longer. When I returned home, I was both amazed and heartbroken to see that this woman was wondering all during my absence what had happened to me. I immediately e-mailed her to apologize and this is where our relationship began.

After 15 months of chatting daily and a couple of phone calls a week, as well as many, many text messages, I flew to Nigeria to meet this woman of my dreams. I’ve only been home from my trip to Nigeria just short of two weeks now and miss my new wife so much it hurts. Yes, you read it correctly, my new wife. We were married on Nov 15, 2006 and I am now starting the process of securing a visa for her to come to the U.S. Thanks again Afro. You have made two more people in this world very, very happy.

It still feels like a dream, so surreal, keep thinking I'd wake up at one point...but no, it's real...I joioned Afro in May, 2005, met and chatted with a couple of guys, thought i got quite serious and on a one-on-one basis with them, only to get utterly disillusioned when I realized all they wanted was a bit of online romance, was at the verge of giving up when I came across this profile in September that pointedly asking scammers to keep away, that touched me and got me interested....

We chatted daily for 15months with constant text messaging and phone calls before Chris finally came to Nigeria, we got married on the 15th of November, 2006, we're working on my visa right now to join him in the states.... I wish to use this forum to encourage others...true love is very possible on Afro, just focus your mind on patiently and honestly working for it and your effort would be rewarded with eternal marital bliss.
